Flood Zones & FEMA Map
Use FEMA’s official Flood Map Service Center to enter a property address yourself and review the current mapped flood-zone information.

A FEMA map is a starting point, not a guarantee that a property will or will not flood. Also review the seller’s disclosure, prior flood history, elevation information, drainage conditions, and a current flood-insurance quote.
Questions worth asking:
• Has the home or property ever taken water?
• Is an elevation certificate available?
• How does the street and neighborhood drain during heavy rain?
• What would flood insurance cost for this specific property?
This resource is general educational information and is not a flood determination, elevation certification, legal advice, or insurance advice.
